Peppers in the Gym

Klase-klase. Iba-iba. Varied.

Spicy ang gym na pinupuntahan ko. Andaming spices. Mga paminta. Peppermints and all. Eh kasi ba naman, ito lang yung nag-iisang branch sa VisMin ng pinakamalaking health club group sa buong mundo. It's not surprising na halos lahat ng mga beckies, peppers and gym parishioners have tried working out dito.

Hindi na rin ako nagulat kung bakit trip na trip din ng mga exhibitionists ang gym na ito. These guys love to show off their bodies. They love to strut their wares sa work-out area, specially in places where they are in complete view of the trainors and guests. Kahit sa locker rooms, pa-show off din ang mga peppers. Gusto nila ng attention.

Some of these exhibitionists are members of our own kind. Mga becky lou blancos. Ironic in a way. Exhibitionist nga sila pero mga bading-in-hiding. In-na-out na di mo maintindihan. I just couldn't help it either. I tried to check these exhibitionists kung bading ba sila or hindi.

Medyo maypaka-mayabang ang dating ng mga exhibitionist. Sila yung mga nagbubuhat ng pagkabigat-bigat na plates and weights. Yung tipong above 100lbs ang pina-pump. Dios-meh. Kakatakot diba. Pero maiinis ka rin sa kanila dahil ma-iinsecure ka bigla sa taglay nilang lakas. Figuratively, manliliit ka sa mga pingbubuhat nila.

Mas nakakainis kung alam mong iba sa kanila ay mga beks. Na-inggit lang siguro ako.

Merong isa, actually dalawa sila. Doon sila lagi sa Free Weights area. Kasi ba naman, exhibitionists love to work-out doon. Ayaw nila masyado ang mga equipment. Siyempre andun sila, mga exhibitionist din. They watch other guests pump iron. Fixated sa mga tall, buff, and good-looking guys. 

They usually stare at these men in between sets. Long sticky ogles on other people's butt, chest, limbs and face. Some may think that they're watching you because they want to use the dumb bells after you're done with them. Or you may think that they want to use the bench after you're through. Pero style lang nila yun.

Sila din mismo, they draw attention to themselves. Nagbubuhat ng mabibigat na dumb bells. Nagsisigaw sa mga last few reps. They take turns in spotting each other. Kanya-kanya din silang spot ng mga eye candies.

Halos magkamukha na sila. Magkapareho kasi ang hugis ng mukha nila. Yung tipong kamag-anak ni Ai-ai. Mas maputi nga lang ang isa. White Horse. Mas puno nga lang din ng pimples ang isa. May kasingkitan ang mas maputi. Toned and developed ang mga katawan. Pati mga mukha, developed na developed din.

Pero eto ang napansin ko. Sabay silang pumapasok sa gym. Walang araw na di mo makikitang isa lang sa kanila ang pumasok sa gym. Mag-asawa? Siguro nga. They share the same water bottle. Horse whisperers. They talk in hush hush muffled voices, halos magkadikit na ang mga mukha pag nag-uusap. Akala ko nung una magkapatid lang sila. Maling akala. Dehins pala.

Bulung-bulongan sa gym. Items daw yun sila. Aba. Sweet naman.

Mag-syotang exhibitionist. It's showtime!
